Title: Thumbnail file size & command lines?
Post by: ashleyXcore on March 24, 2006, 10:11:56 am
I did a search and I'm having the same problem as this person: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=11258.0 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=11258.0)

This is the response he got:
From the ImageMagick website:

31. Why are my JPEG files larger than expected?
Your JPEG files may contain embedded "profiles" such as Exif or IPTC, or they may contain uncompressed thumbnails. You can use the +profile "*" commandline option or an equivalent API method to remove them.

I'm not sure how to go about doing that... how would I type it out exactly?
Right now, in the command line box in my confgi panel I have "-antialias"
How would I add on to this? I have no idea...

Thanks so much  ^.^

Yay, I found this through yahoo search:

It wasn't in the forum search...

I just added "-strip" after the "-alias" and all is well now...
