hi i know this should not go here but i dont know where it should go :'( ive started a new job designing a web site (my first time doing anything like this so go easy please the company i work for have your site to host there gallery but have forgot the user name and password ??? and have ask me to sort it :o (thanks guys!) so now you know as mush as me THANKS

Read the docs, upgrade section. You won't lose anything. Your coppermine version goes unsupported anyway. In every coppermine version, you can create a new admin logon if you need one, so I'm not sure what you're trying to suggest with your question.

In cpg1.3.x or better, you click on "create new user" on the user manager page. I don't remember how things used to be in cpg1.2.x, and I won't bother to look it up, as it goes unsupported anyway (as you have been told already).
