Title: Why don't admins see photos reserved to Members ?
Post by: @ybee on December 27, 2003, 10:35:24 am
I don't really know how to explain my issue...

I have a phpBB board, where new users have to be accepted by admin (me) ... I've now installed Coppermine gallery with phpBB integration, which works really really great, except for something that I can't get to work.

I'd like that ONLY registered users of the phpBB can view the pictures on the Coppermine part of the site, without having to register with it, only using their phpBB username/password.

The issue seems to come from the groups management. If I change an album propriety si that only Members can see the pictures inside, I (admin) can not see them, change album infos, etc etc !
And on the other side of course, if i set that Admin can see them, "simple" members don't see them ;-)

Am I doing something wrong here ?

Thanks for your help !

PS : Excuse my english, it's not my mother tongue...

This has been well discussed.

In config, set "Show private album Icon to unlogged user" to YES.

Now, when in admin mode, you will see the "private" icon, but when you click on it, you will see the album and the pics as normal, and will be able to edit/delete.

Hope this helps
