Post by: Corby on January 18, 2006, 05:47:01 am
I am having a problerm with pictures fully loading.  Everything in the gallery works correctly but when I view the full size picture I only see half the picture.

Please help.

You'll need to reupload the file. It's corrupted. The same thing happens if you save the file and view it in another image viewer.

I have tried that and get the same results.  Some of these pictures have been on the site for years with no problems.

Could you use FTP to download the file directly and see what happens? Maybe it's a coincidence, but your server seems to be having issues now. I can't connect to it.

When I download the picture it is fine but when I look at it in the fullsize mode I get half the picture.

accessing the file http://corby.servepics.com/coppermine/albums/wpw-20050826/2005-08-18%20091.JPG directly in the browser gives the same troubles, so the issue is not related to coppermine. I guess Thu is right, the file may be corrupt. After downloading it to your client, make sure to try viewing it in your browser instead of an image viewer app, as the image viewer may be more tolerant against corrupted files than the browser. Attach the file you downloaded to your posting (using "Additional options" when composing your reply).
