I found a very funny site that allows you to see where others users in Coppermine Photo Gallery group are located across the world.
I thought it would be fun to set one up for the Coppermine Community.

Ask to Gaugau if it's possible to add an other SMF plugin...? and our CPG forum became much slower than never ;)

But why not use an other free host to say the same thing ? Frapp'r is not good enought for us ?

My village have 400 persons, and of cousr not recognized by Google-Earth...
But near there is an other town known by Goo-Earth !
Then, i drag and drop the small pin about my real location.
Look at my location... nobody nobody arond me ;)

They seem to have updated their data - the place where I live is now in their database, so I added myself. Actually, it's not a village, but a town. When zooming in, the map data is a bit "off" though - it seems as if I was living in a forrest ;D
For Germany, only zoom level "4" and below actually contains data - when zooming in more, you get an error message. Guess this is fine though.

Post by: Tranz on January 18, 2006, 05:20:35 am: I finally decided to add myself but it requires an email address and it keeps saying it's invalid. I don't know why. I have a system that tracks the email addresses I use and who I give them to, so I'm not sure if that's the reason, or if it's a subdomain email. Oh well. I've learned not to give out my email addresses without some way of tracking who gets them.
