Title: index redirects to login
Post by: WickedElf on January 02, 2006, 02:16:58 am
I've been fiddling all day and I just went to go test it now to see how it appeared to others.  So I logged out and went to my index page.  Except now it just redirects me back to the login.php page instead of showing me my index.php page.

I'm assuming this is because of changes I made to my template.html.  I was having trouble editing the admin_menu, sys_menu and sub_menu to the way I wanted them (I would never use most of those menu options and they were cluttering up my layout), so I commented them out and just handed coded links into the parts of those menus I would use.

How can I make index.php not redirect to the login page?

The example is here (http://www.wickedelf.com/gallery (http://www.wickedelf.com/gallery)) if needed.

Thanks!

In Config, make sure "Allow unlogged users (guest or anonymous) access" says Yes.

Oh thank you!   ;D

And that doesn't allow them access to anything more than viewing things right?  I assume not, but since I didn't have to have it checked before in 1.3.whatever, I just want to verify.

Thank you!!

No, this doesn't give them special privileges.
