Another newbie here. I have replaced the default logo and linked back to my site. The problem is that the logo is distorted. I have tried different sizes, using GIF, JPG, PNG formats and all produce the same results.
The graphic displays properly if I creat a blank HTML test page.
Here is a link to my site. http://www.qcvolleyball.com/coppermine
I'd appreciate if someone could take a look and see what's wrong.
THANKS!!!!!

The file itself is corrupted. Try re-uploading it.

The logo on the main site is part of the background images and a different file as the one you use on the coppermine site.
main site: (https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.qcvolleyball.org%2Fimages%2FBkg2.jpg&hash=7853518d6fc838eb4a63a333ba02648ef14a8c33)
In coppermine : (https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.qcvolleyball.org%2Fcoppermine%2Fthemes%2Fclassic%2Fimages%2Fqcvblogo.gif&hash=4f177a04698dd03b1a79dcc28264a76ce1f9e82f)
Also notice that one is a JPG file and the other a GIF file. So you can't really compare those two files, the fact that it's looking like this has nothing to do with coppermine but the file itself

Try saving it as a .jpg, and uploading it. If not that, then try it as a .png. Then CHMOD it to 755. See if that works.
OR - try using these properties for the picture:
