Title: Pictures not showing in "thumbnail and normall" View

Thanks for this great gallery.

I just installed Coppermine cpg1.42 . I uploaded pictures but I can not see pictures,  only the names of the pictures. When I click to view fulsize picture you see the picture. I think in some how thumbnail and normal are not created. 

I am using GD version 2.x. ImageMagik is not installed to the Server.

 Thanks GauGau , I followed the instruction of upload troubleshoot  but still I cannot view the pictures.  I used ftp  program to open the folder  /root/gober/albums/userpics/1001  And I see the original picture, the thumnail anad intermedite picures there. And when I click each one I see the pictures. So the thumbnail and intermediate picture are created . I uploaded a picture jigjiga.jpg after uploadin when I opened the folder you see:

jigjiga.jpg
normal_jigjiga.jpg
thumb_jigjiga2.jpg

So Iam not sure the problem is uploading , but Image display ...

I made search on the forum and found similar quesion but their solution does not apply me since I use php 4.3.10 and not 4.4.1 .

It seems to be a permissions issue since when you directly access thumb from browser, it gives "Forbidden" error.

Check the permissions of the thumb and normal pictures beign created and report back.

I checked the permissions of the thumb and normal pictures being craeted and are 644 (-rw-r--r--) while the original picure is (664).  I can access the original picutre from the prowser even if I change the permission to 644 , but not thums and normal pictures you get the following message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /gober/albums/userpics/10001/thumb_ciida-jigjiga.jpg on this server.

I changed to 755 and even 777 but still same problem .....

If even 777 doesn't works then i am afraid it might be a server issue. Please check the owner and group of the thumb.

Report to your web host that the files created by webserver are giving forbidden error.

I have a similar problem.  When I convert images from RAW to JPG using RawShooter premium 2006, I can't see thumbnails or images.  I can click on the image and show it.  Wehn I convert the same image using Digital Photo Pro, there is no problem.

I had a similar problem with an older version of Coppermine using RawShooter essentials 2005.  This was corrected by moving to the latest release of version 1.3.
