With 1.3.5 it was possible to eliminate words from the result of a search by using the minus sign, as in the way we can search this forum:-
e.g. Orwell "Animal Farm" -movie
Cannot get this to work in 1.4.2
Any help please?

There was also possible to eliminate words with using "NOT". For example you was able to search "vegetables NOT tomatoes" and you got all of vegetables without tomatoes as a result.
It is very important search feature. How can I search like that in the newest version?

My last little problem has as yet gone unanswered.
It seems a search can only be carried out with the options "and" "or", but what if you choose not to include something, as in A and B but not C.
Any help appreciated on this one.

It's not a feature of the new search.
-
That's a pity, as it was in 1.3.5.
Never mind, I'm more than happy with everything else. Can it be an option again in future releases?
Anyway, thanks for the reply. Merry Christmas.

Can we expect that next version of Coppermine will have this important feature?
The 1.4.2 also doesn' t allowed for search for ex. "woman OR man NOT child" or "woman AND man OR child"
Best,
