Title: upload.php destroys frames
Post by: seyring on December 02, 2005, 11:38:43 am
Hi,

my homepage (http://we-go-mc.hobbysite.org (http://we-go-mc.hobby-site.org)) uses frames (I know frames are a bad choice, but I still want to use them). CPG is loaded into a subframe. If you now click on the link with "upload.php" the main-frame is destroyed. I searched the index.php for the link, so i could add a "target", but i couldn't find it. Where in the php-files is this link gernerated so i could a the "target" command?

Thanks, Stefan

Edit: corrected link

Thanks

repeating my posting in German: http://we-go-mc.hobbysite.org/ wurde nicht gefunden - der Link ist falsch. Überprüfe die Schreibweise!

Hi, I edited the link, but it still doesn't work. Luckily my domain got registered. The Homepage is now here:
http://www.we-go-mc.de (http://www.we-go-mc.de)

Thanks for the help, Stefan

your site works as expected, the frame is working, i.e. coppermine stays within the frame. I guess your issues were related to using a subdomain of a free webhost who fiddled with some popups. Please confirm that your issues are solved.

Hi,

thanks for the testing, I found an error in my configuration. Now it still seems to be a problem with Mozilla Firefox, but uploading works with Opera/MSIE/Konqueror. So I'll search for an answer there.

I actually tested using Firefox, worked OK for me. Not sure what your issue is.
