Title: Page with list of recently uploaded sets?
Post by: deepblue on November 30, 2005, 06:08:45 am
First of all I appologize if this thread is in the wrong place.  I wasnt sure if this belonged here or in the "hacks" forum.

Anyhow what I would like is a way to display a list of the recently uploaded image SETS from my entire gallery.  Two ideas are either in a category view, or in a similiar to the way the "random files" and "last uploaded" pictures are displayed.

Does the new version of Coppermine have this?  If not, is there a mod?  (I did a search and didnt find anything).  If the answer to both of those questions is "no", then I would like to submit this as a feature request for a future version.

Thanks for your help.

What are you considering an "image SET"?

I said "set", but I think "album" might be a more appropriate word.

I guess technically coppermine labels what I call a "set" an album.   A category view of the most recent albums (from all categories) is what I'm looking for.

two things come to mind: #1 add "lastalb" to the content of your main page.

ie: breadcrumb/lastalb,1/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2

use the custom link in the config and do something like this:

Custom menu link name: Updated Albums

Custom menu link URL : thumbnails.php?album=lastalb&cat=0

@deepblue: Any explainations for removing "Powered By..." line.
