Title: only one random image on the first page
Post by: arvand007 on November 04, 2005, 08:45:36 pm
Hi All,
I want to create a website for a modelling agency and I was thinking to use coppermine as its core. What I want to do is that every model logs in as a user and each user has her own album that she can uplaod her pictures. Coppermine would be ok for this thing but i want to modify the fornt page so, instead one a row (or more) of random image, it shows a one big random image. Is this possible? if yes, would you guid me or give me some hints about it? Thanx
Arvand

use a splash page that is not a direct coppermine page, but a "regular" page that displays content from coppermine (in your case: an intermediate sized random pic) plus some links that send to user to the actual coppermine pages - you can accomplish this easily by using cpmFetch: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=57.0
