I hope I'm not repeating a post. I've been looking through this forum for a week and have done several searches and haven't run accross anything like it.
I'm running my own web server.
OS:Windows Server 2003
Apache 2.0.55
PHP 4.4.0
MySQL 5.0.13
Coppermine 1.3.5
ImageMagick Installed
phpMyAdmin 2.6.3 <--(Don't think you really need this but thought I would add it anyway.)
Now to get to the problem. When I go to upload a file I do the following:
Album: Test Album
File: C:\My Documents\Mercedes\000_0205.JPG
File Title: Test
File description: Test
Keywords: Test
I hit "Upload File" and it says:

Ok, now I did remove the IP addresses just FYI. I've checked the MySQL 'PID' and don't see anything wrong in the database portion. I'm sure this has to be some kind of setting in PHP.ini or my Apache settings, but I don't know.

Coppermine doesn't support MySQL 5 fully, version 4.1 is recommended.

I unistalled MySQL 5 and installed 4.1 as suggested. Do I need to reinstall Coppermine? I get the following erro when I open the Index.php for coppermine.
Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !
MySQL said: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

Sorry for that....nevermind....I went to the MySQL command prompt and changed the password to the old style and reconfigured coppermine. It's working now.
