Title: [Fixed] Upload Approval?
Post by: SBSTechInc on October 15, 2005, 06:08:29 am
I have users tried to upload pics to the gallery..

One user uploaded the pictures twice and placed the pics in the 'Upload Album' and I was able to see the pics in the

/albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_c7234ddc.bmp
/album/userpics/10114/123.bmp

but I was unable to see the 'Upload Approval' button..  I checked the 'Upload Album' and 'Last Uploads' but was unable to see those pics.

This user belongs to a group which has the following parameters:

Permissions:
 . Ratings (Y)
 . Ecards (Y)
 . Comments (Y)

Public albums upload
 . Allowed (Y)
 . Approval (Y)

Personal gallery
 . Allowed (Y)
 . Approval (Y)

Upload method
No. of boxes: Fixed
File upload boxes: 5
URI upload boxes: 5

Even when I checked Approval to N but still unable to see the pics anywhere nor can I see the 'Upload Approval' button..

Can someone please help me..  Thank you :)

What theme are you using ?
Are uploaders informed by Coppermine that the pics will be visible after admin approval ?

a valid bug report needs to contain some data that is missing from your posting. Read the sticky thread on this sub-board to find out more... This is not a support board nor a hotline. If you actually need support, downgrade to the most recent stable.

Firstly, thank you again Nibbler for assisting me with another problem..

The problem is now resolved..

It appeared the user (my niece) was uploading the file and did not insert the 'title' and/or 'description' and didn't clearly read through the information screens..  She was using the 'Traditional Chinese' language and after troubleshooting I thought there was some missing language keys..

After logging in as her and tried several possible steps that she could've taken it's cleared to me that she missed the 'title' and/or 'description' steps..

Sorry for taking up everyone's time with this silly problem..

This is an awesome software and I have been using it for seveal years now..  Keep up the wonderful work!!
