Title: Email Verification

Hi there, I have install version 1 3 5 and everything works fine but I am not getting email verification for new members/photos/approval etc.  I have checked the option in config to activate this and it is checked. Is there anything else that I should check??

Try sending an ecard to yourself and see if it works.

Please post a link and test user account if required to send ecards. Are you using mail() or SMTP ?

Try using the forget pasword function to email to yourself and see what the message will be. most likely you get an error when the smtp server is not available, perhaps the host removed the direct smtp function. Try to remove the smtp settings and using mail() instead if you can't send mail at this moment.

Musst admit that since two days I had the same problem the php function mail() didn't worked anymore on the host.

But after replaced the mailer.inc file with the 1.4 beta mailer.inc version all things worked again.

Although 1.4 is still a beta version teh mailer.inc included in that package could perhaps help you out for this moment of time.
