Title: template for coppermine and phpbb
Post by: tytanyum on October 08, 2005, 03:56:45 pm
I really like the mac style of my gallery http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg13x/index.php?theme=mac_ox_x but if i want to have some continuity between my gallery( the first page of my website) and the forum, i need one template for both (coppermine and forum). I did'nt find that yet.

You would need to modify your phpbb template if you like the mac one. What's the question?

Yeah it's a question  :P But i can't see how i can do to modify the template to fit with phpbb. Maybe there's another cool template that will fit together. Any suggestions ?

If you want to keep the look of coppermine's MAC template, you'll have to check the phpbb resources and find a theme that resembles the mac theme. If you want your coppermine site to look like your phpbb pages, you'll have to use another coppermine theme. Simple as that. You can browse the coppermine demo (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg13x/) and use the "choose a theme" dropdown to see what themes are available for coppermine. Download (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658&package_id=98541) the one that comes closest to what you're looking for (download link at top of this page) and modify it even further to make it match perfectly to the overall look of your site (there are many threads on this board that discuss how to accomplish this). The final touch is done by adding a link to your phpbb navigation that links to coppermine and vice versa. Both of these things have been discussed as well, please use the search (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=search). Please read the sticky threads as well.
