Title: PHP image resize tool
Post by: Randomizer on October 04, 2005, 12:53:53 pm
As I can understand Coppermine doesn't autoresize images when you upload them.
Is there a php utility out there that does the following:

- User can upload one or more pictures
- Supporting PNG, GIF and JPG
- Output size can be configurable
- User can save resized image/images to a local folder

Thanks for your help...

Almost, try this : http://www.ic-gallery.com/stuff/resizer/

I can't remember exactly what it does though.

there are mods for cpg to resize fullsized pics if they are bigger than the admin set size (after upload or when you run the admin tools)

An unmodded coppermine will resize the images as well. It leaves the original untouched and creates a resized 'normal' pic. You just have to enable that in config.

Ok, a nice one, but not quite what I'm looking for. I want batch autoresizing and the user can specify which folder to save it in.

Ok, where can I download that mod?

cpg 1.4.1 does this, but 1.4.1 is UNSUPPORTED, as i've been reminded once or twice :D
