Title: CPGMark: watermark plug-in
Post by: Tranz on September 25, 2005, 08:09:09 am
This is an FYI post to let people know that a watermark plugin is in development called CPGMark. It is still in beta, and thus has the same caveats apply as using coppermine 1.4 beta. Not recommended for newbies or for production use. If you can help test and even fix bugs, great. Otherwise, please wait until it is out of beta.

This thread is to discourage people from asking if existing watermarks made for 1.3x are compatible with 1.4x.

not at all, you can get it from the CVS only. This is a task that can usually only be accomplished by experienced users, that's why Thu said that all caveats apply. If you can't find the download link, take a look around on the page Thu refered to. If this is too complicated for you, then the plugin isn't meant for you probably.

As GauGau said, you can't download it, so there is no such link. There is a board for CPGMark. You will need to set up CVS access:  Downloading the Coppermine Development Version (HOWTO) available http://cpg-contrib.org/

Please note there is no support while Coppermine and the watermark plugin are in beta.

Is this still being developed?

I tried it out, but it failed in the install... And then Coppermine wouldn't function, I had to go into phpMyAdmin to disable plugins, is this expected behavior if a plugin fails install? (To bring the entire software down)

Could you please post for support in the cpg-contrib board?

I get the following error on CPG Mark:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cpggetmicrotime() (previously declared in /home/virtual/site394/fst/var/www/html/matisyahufan.com/include/init.inc.php:35) in /home/virtual/site394/fst/var/www/html/matisyahufan.com/include/init.inc.php on line 33

Look, this is an announcement thread only that tells people they should have a look at the cpg-contrib page. Post your questions and comments there. The CPGMARK doesn't get supported here, but only on the cpg-contrib page (if at all). Don't ask for answers on your individual questions.
