Title: Get data form IPTC

I've been using PHPWebGallery and I'm quite satisfied with it, yet I'm also impressed by the lot of features Coppermine offers. There are, however, two functions I'm used to from PWG, which seem to be missing from Coppermine. Or at least, I haven't learnt from Coppermine documentation if they exist.
1) Can Coppermine import data from IPTC into Title & Desciption filelds of the database?
2) Can I upload my pictures with thumbnails generated on my computer and tell Coppermine to use them? (instead of generating them via GD or ImageMagick – thumbs created in Photoshop will always be of higher quality)

We have a "one question per thread" policy - asking two questions in one thread that is even labelled "No support" is not a good idea, so the answer is pretty short:
1) Yes, but the IPTC support is still undocumented and rudimentary
2) Yes - as suggested in the docs
