Title: A better Keywords system entry ...
Post by: Rodinou on August 27, 2005, 01:26:16 pm
As I'm working on CPG dhtml ( héhéhéhéhé ) ... and waiting with big impatience 1.4 for keywords system ... I have planned to begin to enter the keywords on my pics. Big deal for me, my gallery contains 82852 pics ... with the actual system ... you have 2 possibilities
1. go under each pic and modify (very happy)
2. go in category, and "modify the album" and you can batch max 100 pics ...

but I think it's not very practice. I would like to know if you find the idea "interesting" (but when I see my Karma, I have a doubt)

when logged in admin mode, a text area under the pic in thumbnails.php appears, with keywords ... so ... you surf, you see a pic, and "ohhh yes ! why not to add keyword ?" and a button on the bottom of the pic confirms the keywords under the pics.

So ??? (yes / no / why not ? or rate negative karma)

valid feature request, so I'm sorry to disapoint you: today, we won't feed you any negative karma ;). Could be done easily as a plugin for cpg1.4.x, why don't you give it a try?

I keep in touch :)

The idea would be like when you want to edit comments : a button (at the bottom of the thumb pages ?) when clicked, inputs appear under the pics (we can imagine in same thing keywords + title, for example) ... in this way, it's quite easy to surf on the site and to add keywords without changing page :)
