Hi People
i red that users are allowed to comment the copyrights of GNU/GPL projekts out.. than users still can look in the html code and they are not removed... is this tru?
-
Where did you read that?
-
sure it is for the mambo script but there is spoken from the gpl and gnu copyright... on several other pages you can find the same solution...

That's for Mambo, not Coppermine. We require the copyright statement to be left as is. If you remove it, you will get no support from our team. There are plenty of posts about our position on this issue - please feel free to search the forum.

i feel free but i don't find my answere ! I wannt to know if there is an 100% "law" not to remove the copyright or better not to comment them out... i think that the people who want a script always look in the source... i do !!!
