Title: Impossible to move error

Hi, I have received the same error message that tons of people on this forum have received: 0 uploads were successful....impossible to move.

When I click on the link to upload photos, I get this message at the top:
Warning: opendir(./albums/edit): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home2/amagator/public_html/about/coppermine1.3.0/upload.php on line 406

Then, when I try to upload a photo anyway, I get the following messages:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_63e6ad87.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/amagator/public_html/about/coppermine1.3.0/upload.php on line 1193

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpy8Ozdi' to './albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_63e6ad87.jpg' in /home2/amagator/public_html/about/coppermine1.3.0/upload.php on line 1193


I copy and pasted something from debug mode, but I have no idea what it means.  I don't know what any of this means.  I have read other posts from people with my same problem but I could not figure out what to do.  I just want to post photos on a website that was created by someone else.  This used to work fine, and all of a sudden I just started getting those error messages.  Could someone please instruct me, in the simplest way possible, what to do about this problem???  THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Create a new folder in your albums folder called edit. Set permissions on it to allow the server write access and update your gallery.

Nibbler,

I created the edit folder, but that is as far as I got.  I could not find anywhere to set the permissions to allow the server write access.  I updated my gallery anyway, but I still get the same error.  Any more words of wisdom?  Thank you for helping someone as clueless as myself!  ;D

use your FTP app or cpanel to CHMOD
