Title: Is there any way to generate random files are from specified category only.

Hi...

How can I make sure that the random files generated on home page are taken from only the specified category. I have 5-6 category on my site and I just want that random files are only from 3 categories.

You can specify by album using this (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=13383.0). Restricting based on category would just be a change to the sql query.
