Post by: rubbersoul on May 07, 2005, 06:47:29 pm
Here's a weird one! I need to label my images....but I don't want them to show up to anyone???? Possible? I need to label them for SQL Querys that I'm doing....however, I don't want my visitors to see these image names? Hope someone can help....I've searched the boards and cant find anything!

Just out of curiousity, why do you not want visitors to see the labels that you put on image files ?

Well....that's simple: I'm using the title 'noshow' on images that I don't want to be seen in the 'random images' portion of the page....it works great except when you brows through the categories....you find images with the name 'noshow'. I really don't want any of my images to have names....and as explained above, the only ones that do are for SQL query reasons! Hope that makes sence...

Depends where you want to hide them ? displayimage.php ? thumbnail view ? meta album view ?

Look in the theme.php, try removing some of the {TITLE} tags .

Nope...not working....even when I remove {TITLE}.....and to answer your question....It's the title of the images under thumbnails.php

In that case you need to be looking in functions.inc.php in the get_pic_data() function. Adjust the 'caption_text's that are being returned.
