Title: Coppermine vs Gallery 2?

I'm looking to install a photo gallery on my website and I've pretty much narrowed it down to Gallery 2 or Coppermine. I'm having trouble making an educated decision on which to use. I know I could just install both and try both but that's not a trivial undertaking so I'd rather try and get it right with one the first time.

Is there someone familiar with both Coppermine and G2 who could offer some comparisions? What are the differences? What things does G2 do better? What things does Coppermine do better?

There are many features that Coppermine offers that would be too numerous to list in this one post. I would suggest trying the demo out and to take a look at the documentation to get a feel as to the features that Coppermine offers.

I realize Coppermine has a lot of features... I wasn't expecting someone to list them all out.  ;)

What I'm hoping for is someone who has experience with both Coppermine and Gallery 2 who can offer the much-shorter list of how they compare/differ. For example, if someone switched from G2 to Coppermine, I'd be interested in knowing what it was about Coppermine that they liked over G2 that made them switch.
