I have searched the forum for this error: There was an error while processing a database query
But it tells me to contact my webhost and my webhost thinks there isnt anything wrong any ideas?

ok, my webhost says they have upgraded the MySQL version and they have told me to ask if coppermine supports version 4.1

Coppermine works just fine under 4.1. Try searching the forums for "Can't open file: .MYI"
