Title: Permissions using htaccess file for gallerie but not for ecards
Post by: alpamayo on March 28, 2005, 05:02:17 am
Greetings:

I have the whole coppermine site protected by htaccess since it is just a family site. But when I send ecards, I do not want to require a username and password just to view the ecard, only when following the link in the card to view more photos.  How could I change the permissions so when the ecard draws the photo from my "albums" folder, it will not require a username and password?  I still want username and password when coming into the site through the normal URL.

Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.

You might want to drop .htaccess and use this instead:

We take security seriously so would not knowingly suggest things that are not secure.
