Is there a way to display have the images rotate randomly? I was hoping to find a feature to where once one image is voted on it rotates to another random image (not sequentially within the album). Possible?
Thanks

Not sure what you mean - rotation (clockwise or counter-clockwise) doesn't seem like an option, so you probably meant "display a random pic" after a user has voted. I would find such a feature very nasty - if I'm in the middle of browsing an album and want to vote for a pic, I definitely want to be returned to the album I was browsing before instead of being sent to another totally unrelated pic. A user is free to browse the "random" meta album (or you are free to send him there using your navigation), so what's the point? If I got this wrong, please elaborate.

Aside from the random images on the home page of the gallery, I was unaware of a random meta album. Although randomly changing images would be ideal, a random starting point would be the next best thing. How do I navigate there?

It would be /thumbnails.php?album=random

moving this thread from "feature requests" to support board, as this is not a request for a new feature in a future version of coppermine, but an explanation of the powers of coppermine.

Thank you for pointing me to the "random" album.
...so what's the point?
The reason I am looking to do this is to accomplish the infamous "hot or not" capabilities. I am going to remove all the navigation from the template and If I can point them to the random album then that is good for starters. If after that anytime someone votes it just pulls up another random image that would be perfect. Is that accomplishable?

I noticed that's always where this question dies for others too :\ Any help would be appreciated.

Any possibility of this feature?
