Title: 404-ERROR for /modules/coppermine/include/init.inc.php
Post by: Alisa on February 27, 2005, 01:47:05 am
Hello cpg-user.

I just looked at my 404-ERROR-log and found the following line:

/modules/coppermine/include/init.inc.php

I am not sure if some deface-bot is trying to deface the site or the coppermine have a bug from the past.
??? I have searched the web and discovered that I am far from alone with this problem.

Search the web for /modules/coppermine/include/init.inc.php+404 to see the logs of other users.

I am using cpg v. 1.3.2 without any mods or bridges.
Have you some experience with this 404-error or any proposals why this error occurs in relation to cpg ?

you have the wrong version - this is not the standable version - download the standalone version and try again

I am using a stable and standalone version of coppermine 1.3.2.

I have no problems with it !

I just wonder why me and other cpg users have this mystirious 404-error related to the
nonexistent file /modules/coppermine/include/init.inc.php.

As I wrote befor it could be an deface attempt or a small bug.

Your logs simply show you people are attempting to exploit a phpnuke weakness, most probably a script kiddie using one of many tools available to scan websites.  It isn't a bug.
