Title: Linking directly to pagesand images in coppermine
Post by: davened on February 01, 2005, 07:36:46 am
Hi guys,

This is a quick post to basically ask how to identify a session start in coppermine?
I'm trying to access certain sections of coppermine from the 'outside' ie other pages not in coppermine and I always seem to get redirected back to the index.php page whenever I am visiting coppermine the first time.

eg http://coppermineDir/displayimage.php?album=2&pos=12 will push me pack to the index.php page BUT once 'the session'? is started I can go anywhere in the site.

I'm just trying to find where this is set and am having alot of trouble.

Please help.

Apologise if this is a simple issue or has already been soved somewhere. Please send me the link.

Dave

OK I've found that HTTP_SERVER_VARS has something to do with this..

Anyone let me know if I'm on the right track.

HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REDIRECT_URL'] ..... ?

Close?

coppermine doesn't use sessions, although some of the bbs apps coppermine can be bridged with do. Linking to coppermine pages should be easy - for details, please post your real url instead of an example.
