I have found in the Readme what I must do when I must do the same thing as by a phpbb integration. But I will mention, in init.inc.php is
"// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'yabbse');"
but that must add in the readme. Now, there's just write
"// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'phpbb');
// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'invisionboard');
// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'vbulletin');"
and
"// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'yabbse');"
is missing.

I thing that this must be correct, GauGau.

This has already been fixed in the cvs (both stable and dev), but in the public release there's still no documentation for yabbse (will hopefully be there in the final); thanks for your remark.

I've found a problem with the YabbSE Integration. When i'm in YabbSE loged in and I go to Coppermine, I'm loged in, but when I will log out in Coppermine, a page from YabbSE comes where is write:
"Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten!

Session Check fehlgeschlagen. Bitte versuchen Sie es noch einmal."
I thing you must become the same when you test it, GauGau.

Please search the board before posting: this is a well known issue!
When posting here, please post completely in English (switch YaBB SE temporarily to english to get the error message in english as well).
Don't refer to separate issues in one thread.

In other words: I appreciate your willingness to help, but please make sure you have really new issues to report and also make sure to use some common sense (read&search before posting).

I've setted up the integration between CPG 1.2 & YaBB SE.

When I'm trying to login from CPG I'm beeing redirected to the YaBB SE login.

I login there, but when I go to CPG I'm not recognized.

Cookies are enabled. I haven't installed any mod, and I'm using the file from the original package..

Any thoughts?

The bridge file is confirmed to work with YaBB SE 1.5.x. As I don't run yabbse1.4.x anymore (and neither the modifications Yabbsi did) I simply can't tell you what went wrong. Dig into the code of the bridge file and modify it to your needs.

P.S. You shouldn't run a webserver on your pc. Really, I know what I'm saying: don't, for your own sake!

And the error system seems to be different too :(

@nordew: seems to me like you're running Spiff's coppermine1.0 integration hack into yabbse as well. I think this is what causes the problems. As I don't run this mod it's hard to say what's going wrong.
Take a look at the cookie names you're using with your gallery and coppermine: they must be different (at least this is a thing to start with).

Title: YABBSE Login Problem
Post by: kraphael on November 20, 2003, 02:28:21 am
I noticed there was another thread on this stating to change cookies, delete from PC, refresh, etc.

I have done this but Coppermine does not recognize the login.

I have the latest versions of Coppermine and Yabbse. I installed Coppermine today and integrated with Yabbse.

When I click on login, Coppermine takes me to the Yabbse login window. I login and then pull up coppermine/index.php. However, it shows as nobody has logged in (even thought I am logged in in Yabbse). I have tried coppermine/admin.php and it says not authorized, even though I login with an admin account.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The url of my Yabbse board is http://masteryofawareness.com/board/

I created a test account:
user: test
password: test

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply.

I went into the database and changed the cookie name for Coppermine but the logins still aren't recognized between the scripts.

I deleted cookies on harddrive and refreshed, and, tried accessing on another computer but still no go.

Coppermine looks like it would be a great addition and I would love to integrate it.

Thanks

Hi
I have found in the YabbSE Board e Bridge file that sovle the problem with the logout. YOu can download it on http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?thread=24525/30. The post is circa at the middle of the page.
The logout works fine, but the problem is, when you go than back in Coppermine, you are logged in as guest. I don't know a solution for that problem, but perhabs every body else can solve that problem.

Cheffu,

As I've mentioned before, I am not familiar with YabbSE at all, so as much as I'd like to help I simply can't.

If you don't find any helpful information in the forums, then I suggest you start a new topic in the support forum (CPG 1.2.0 Standalone Support). Describe your problem exactly and provide all the details such as CPG and YabbSE versions, in which directories you have them installed, etc.

I'm sure that if you provide all the information, then someone will be able to help. However this topic here is about integration with phpBB, no matter how hard you'll try, nobody will notice your problem here.

Good luck,

Eyal.

Trying to bridge YabbSE 1.5.4 with Coppermine 1.2.1

I get this error with first running of coppermine after following bridge instructions and fresh install of coppermine:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: database_error() in /home/tlveik/public_html/veik/cpg/bridge/yabbse.inc.php on line 74

Function database_error() is defined in errors.php but errors.php is never included as far as I can find.  Did I miss something?

Only three lines have anything to do with whether a function is defined or not and they are all correct.

require_once("../yabbse/Settings.php");
require_once("$sourcedir/Load.php");
require_once("$sourcedir/Security.php");

You are quite right .. database_error is not included. I'll get a new YaBB SE bridge done with a replacement for this ASAP.

It's odd that no-one else has noticed this yet, so my guess is that there's something wrong with your install also. Do Yabb SE and Coppermine both work 'standalone'? (just change the init.inc.php file to comment out the Yabbse bridge to test).

I have made a new YaBB SE bridge that includes a replacement database_error function.

WIth this, we should be able to see what the actual error is ;)

I have uploaded it to the 'devel' branch in CVS. It takes some time (a few hours I think) before the public CVS is synched with the development one. When that occurs, you should be able to get the file via the web access to CVS. It will be labelled as from 'Coppermine 1.3', but don't worry, the bridge files are compatible with 1.2.1.
Title: CPG 1.2 & YaBB SE: login problem
Post by: tlveik on March 11, 2004, 04:42:35 am
I tried the new bridge and turned on debug mode so I could see whats happening.  Now I get this:

Quote
Notice: Undefined variable: the_error in /home/tlveik/public_html/veik/cpg/bridge/yabbse.inc.php on line 95
Fatal error :

There was an error while processing a database query.
mySQL error: Table 'kueyh_cpg.yabbse_banned' doesn't exist

I have a table "cpg11d_banned" in database "kueyh_cpg".  Is that the problem?

It's not important that I get the YabbSE bridge working.  I'll be switching to SMF soon.

Title: CPG 1.2 & YaBB SE: login problem

Nope, the problem is that you don't have a 'yabbse_banned' table  :wink:

That is the table used by YaBB SE to keep track of who is banned or not.

Hmm.. do Coppermine and YaBB SE use the same database?

Coppermine and YabbSE are not using the same database.  I could make them use the same database I suppose.  Tried the new bridge file.  Here is what happened: (I think this is correct  :wink: )

Installed new bridge.
Typed my coppermine url in browser.
Got the login screen for yabbse.
Tried logging in using a coppermine user, rejected. (normal I think)
Logged in using my yabbse username and it took me to yabbse not coppermine.
Typed my coppermine url in browser.
Got this error:
