Title: Show Category Description with Thumbnails

One of the categories in my gallery is of interest to a goup of people. But if I advertise the URL for just that category then its description is not displayed. I would like to see a config option to turn on descriptions for a category at the top of its albumn thumbnail page.

Sorry if this is a duplicate request. I may have read some code hacks on how to do this but I'd hate to recode this with each upgrade.

I only took a glance at this one. I didn't confirm that this is exactly the code that I would need.

is not the thing you're looking for - the mod you're refering to will make the album description display on the thumbnails page, but it will not display the category description on the category view.

However, your request does make sense and is being considered for the future.

it is being considered, there's no saying if it's actually going to be implemented.
