Title: Auto Album generation from directory structure

Is there a way to have multiple albums generated automatically from a directory structure upload?
I have about 3000 pictures stored in a hierarchal fashion with many sub directories.

No, and I'm not aware of any mod/hack to do it.

There aren't any plans for it, but feel free to come up with a mod/hack that does it.  Contributions are always welcome.
