Title: Web Statistics - What programme and how?
Post by: jdegouw on January 12, 2005, 05:02:36 pm
I want to use statistics on my coppermine site.
I want to know who post, links, images viewed, IP, OS etc.etc.
How can I install web statistics in coppermine, and which files do I have to edit/change.
I've tryd themes.php and template.html in the themes site, I didn''t work. Alsways got an error (Query error)
Does anyone have experience with web statistics?
Please reply.
Kind regards,
Jeroen

if there's a query error, this is probably caused by the script you're trying to include, not coppermine. As stat/tracker apps differ, there can be no general advice. You should be more specific (what app you try to use, what code modifications you applied, what exact error messages you get). Note that the "general discussion" is not meant for actual support, but it seems you're looking for support, not just general answers. Don't cross-post, but reply to this thread with the details requested above and additionally post what coppermine version you're using - a moderator will move your thread accordingly. Please also understand that we can not support third-party apps: if the issue you're facing is related to the tracker app you're trying to use, there can be little help from the coppermine supporters, as we probably don't know your app. Another good idea might be to search before posting, as this has been asked before frequently... ::)

we never delete support requests nor answers - the point of having a forum is that the posts remain as reference for the benfit of others who're looking for answers to similar questions.
