Title: Using SSI example -- how to add captions?

I have searched and am looking for help in moding the SSI example to also display the caption of the thumb.

The ssi mod goes unsupported (as stated in the thread that deals with it (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=5921.0) and that you should have replied to). Using ssi mod is not recommended, as it doesn't respect permissions.
