Title: uploading direct into category, without album

i have few categories where is no need of albums
for example in the Misc category i do not need albums.....
how to batch upload direct into the category?

Pics have to go in albums.  Categories can only contain albums or other categories.
Albums do not have to be in categories, they can be root.
