Title: upload files and categories
Post by: xnelsonx on December 07, 2004, 06:48:23 pm
hy,

have some question, after installation like adminstrator i create some categories and users, etc.... my ideia was the users upload they files to the existem categories. The result was that the users just can put in one categorie with the name user gallerie and the adminstrator have this message:

"Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files"

i will like to know where i can configure...

You have to change the properties of the albums you want them to upload to.
Click on the 'properties' button next to the album thumb, and change 'visitors can upload' to yes.

If you want your users only to be capable of uploading to public albums you created, but not to have albums of their own, go to "groups" and disable the option that allows them to have a personal gallery. This is all in the documentation that comes with coppermine, please read it carefully.

Did you try Casper's suggestion?
You have to change the properties of the albums you want them to upload to.
Click on the 'properties' button next to the album thumb, and change 'visitors can upload' to yes.
