Title: Permissions for users - deleting own photos
Post by: panwac on November 27, 2004, 12:14:34 am
I suppose it's good idea to think the possibility to get permissions the users to:

- modify title/description for their own photos in public and private albums,
- changing publick album for own photo
- deleting own photos
- changing own comments

Of course, I see this as an option in configuration panel - it could be good option for administrators of big gelleries with great number of users and pictures.

I fully agree with that. :-*

Since coppermine is a multi-user gallery it should offer this fetures.
Maybe it dose and I am to stupid to see it. ???

I run a 5-user-gallery and each time someone makes a spelling mistake in the discription or comment, I have to fix it for him.

Dose anyone know, if there is any possibility to let coppermine recognise the logged-in owner of the picture as the admin and give him the admin-priveleges over it..

Or would it be a security risk ?
