Hello,
I've searched high and low for this - sorry if I missed it somewhere else in the forums.
I'd like to reorder the top-level categories on a daily basis.
I was digging through the code and had some ideas, then it hit me that the easiest way would be to run a cron job on a small script that would reorder the pos values where parent = 0 and cid != 1
My question is would this cause any problems that you know of?
Thanks!
BTW - I'm loving coppermine.. it's a life saver.

I found a different, possibly better solution.
I just changed the SQL query to order by RAND, and it reorders the output for each view. I like it - it gives each category new exposure.
