Title: possible to base permissions on phpbb rank instead of group?

Hey all!

I'm looking at trying to use the "groups" function in Coppermine to base it's permissions on a user's rank instead of group (phpbb bridged).  Ideally, I'm wanting to restrict access to anything other than the user's own gallery until a certain post count has been reached, and it's looking like the easiest way would be to tie the permissions to the user's rank as opposed to group.

is this doable?

ok, I managed to get phpbb modded to auto change the users group on number of posts, but now I have another problem.  phpbb.inc.php only seems to allow 4 groups "Admin, Members, Guest, Banned"

is there any way to add another group to that?

edit: to explain further, Coppermine, in the group permissions, doesn't seem to be taking the settings I give it.

urm, what? Please post a screenshot of coppermine's "groups" page.
