Title: An image first of the name's category and subcategory

Is it possible insert an image (gif) first of the category's name and subcategory's name that I can see iin the first page?
and to remove the drawing of the rows, for to create a page without lines, for example all white or all yellow etc ?

I don't understand your request, please re-phrase. Maybe you could add a rough sketch of what you want to accomplish (screenshot) to your post?

I to test:
now in the first page the list category is so:
Category Principal
           Subcategory 1
           Subcategory 2
and not beautiful (is flat)

with images

           ???Subcategory 1
           :-* Subcategory 2

it is more beautiful

there already are category thumbnails, if that's what you're requesting.

Where are the category thumbnails configured? I can't seem to find it? Only able to set album thumbnails so far.

In the category there has to bee at least one album that contains pics. Then go to the category manager, select the category you want to assign a thumbnail for (by clicking the "e" button) and then use the dropdown field labelled "Category thumbnail" at the bottom to choose a thumbnail for the category.
