Title: vkpMx bridge modified for phpnuke 7.4
Post by: tpot on October 28, 2004, 05:58:07 pm
Does anyone know if it is possible to modify vkpMx bridge for cpg 1.3.2 to use it for phpnuke 7.4?

None of the devs would have that answer as we don't use Nuke.  No current bridge files work with any version of Nuke AFAIK.

there's no such thing as a vkpMx bridge - it's a coppermine port that has been developed and is maintained over at their site: http://www.pragmamx.de/
We (the coppermine dev team)  have no idea how it works or if it could possibly be ported for some other nuke clone. You could ask the vkpMx team for support, but I doubt they will put work into a project that they have chosen to get rid of because it's so buggy.
Imo, phpnuke sucks - the dev team of the former "Coppermine for CMS" port think along the same line, that's why they abandoned their project and started a fresh one - visit http://www.cpgnuke.com/

Hey thanks for the quick response and direct answers.  I am on the verge of upgrading to cpgnuke from phpnuke with cms cpg.  The problem i have now is that my site's purpose is to allow my users to share their photo albums, and the major complaint from them is the pain in having to upload one picture at a time when they have 50+ pics.  I want to give them something like cpg 1.3.2 multiple file upload and/or xp publish feature.  Do you guys know if cpgnuke have any plans to adding those features in the future or if there is another way besides making all my users admins so they can use batch upload?  Thanks again!
