Hi,
Sorry if this was already asked, I'm having problems using the search engine :(
It's possible to upload an image and use it in several albums? I.e.: If I have a flower picture I want it to appear in the 'flowers' album and also in the 'my garden' album without having to upload the same file twice using extra space for the same image. Is this possible?
Thanks

This is in the next version, which is currently in alpha testing, but going to non-public beta very soon.(don't ask for a public release date ;))

I tried duplicating the image record on the database changing the album code and it worked. This is not very practical, though :) If it's possible I would like to test the alpha version.
Thanks.

Here is info on how to set up the alpha files. http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=89658
However, keep in mind that there is absolutely no support. Bug reports are appreciated, but there can be no expectation that problems will be addressed when you want them to be. The alpha version is for advanced users, and not recommended for production sites.

I installed the 1.4.0 alpha and I must say, it's running smoothly with a bunch on nice features in it. However I can't find the feature that implements the possibility of one picture in multiple albums. It's already implemented?

Hmmm - it is a bit subtle, the picture sharing is based on keywords of the picture and the keyword of the album - a picture with the same keyword as that of the album are shared between albums - it is better tried out than explained - add a keyword for an album ( from album properties) and add a the same keyword to some picture in another album ....
Enjoy :)

It's just a matter of reading before asking :) Thanks a lot.
Enjoy :)
You can be sure, I'm really enjoying ;)
