Title: eCard Link error in 1.20 RC2
Post by: rsorensen on October 28, 2003, 03:24:23 am
Hi -

I am new to coppermine, but like it very much so far. I am experiencing an error with ecard. It is very similar to

http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=388&highlight=ecard+path

but the solution grom gtroll here did not work for me. I am using the default install, default theme, IIS.

I get random letters missing from the URL in the email.

Please try here and see what i mean:

If you ask me... you mistyped your name in the path for e-card field and forgot one of the "n"s in your name...

soreson....

Thank you for your response. I have double and triple checked all the settings and re-installed. I thought that I had made a typo also. The strange thing is that the character missing in the URL changes. Sometimes, it is missing a "/", sometimes a letter.

Are there settings somewhere besides the "config" page?

This is a test server that i dont care about, so anyone who wants to help can login with admin:admin.

Also, sorry for not checking the CPG 1.2.0 Testing/Bugs forum first.   It looks like I am having the same problem as this post.

Have not changed anything since my last post. It worked once for me, now not working. The problem appears to be random. I wish i knew PHP better  :?

Yes the same for me, it appears to be random, what character will be missing the next time.

I assume it has something to do with IIS, but am not sure. It did work however in 1.0 and 1.1.
