Title: able to give specific users uploading privledges?
Post by: Zeitgeist on September 29, 2004, 11:29:59 am
now that I have the gallery intergrated with phpBB, is there a way I can give specific users the ability to upload and add captions to the photos? I want some friends too but not just normal members. It seems the usergroups arnt synced together too.

Thanks

Hi,

I set up a gallery at www.topdrunks.com/gallery, right now I am the only administrator and I created a bunch of albums and all that.

My friend wants to add captions to the pictures in the albums, is this possible if I create a new group or modify album rights? I would really like for him to be able to add captions but I do not want to give him administrator rights.

For some reason my thread was deleted... with no explination.

I would like to know if it is possible to allow a certain user to edit captions for pictures without having to give him administrator rights? Thanks
