Title: Admin tools "The file albums/FOLDER/FILE was not found" What does this mean?
Post by: Skipper on September 28, 2004, 04:36:39 pm
When shrinking some images using the admin tools, there are quite a number or images that get this error:

"The file albums/FOLDER/FILE.jpg was not found".

Does this mean I cannot change this image and replace it with a smaller version?

Thanks.

Sorry boss.

Well here's an example from this page: http://www.emergencyvehicles.org.uk/gallery/util.php (It's not exactly this page, but this the one after you submit),

"The file albums/4 EmergDoc/normal_Doc2.jpg was not found", whereas a file that was correctly resized says,

"The file albums/4 EmergDoc/normal_Doc1.jpg was successfully used as main file!"

I'm just wondering what this means as it's not clear.

Thank you.

Did you delete files outside of CPG? That is, did you delete the photos with something other than coppermine?

This just usually means that there was no normal size pic, as the original is smaller than the setting for normal pics set in config.

Nothing to worry about, as in this case, coppermine simply leaves the original in place.
