Title: No file was uploaded !
Post by: celebrityinstincts on May 25, 2009, 11:59:53 pm
I have tried uploading images and my gallery is now saying 'No file was uploaded !' or '0 files were uploaded'

I have followed the steps in the troubleshotting pages; setting to 1 upload and turning on debug info and it still isnt working.

I have tried searching but I didnt seem to find any that where the same as my problem.

I have checked the /phpinfo.php and uploads are turned on so that not the problem.

Test Account:

Username: Test
Password: password

I'd like to thank you guys for you help in advance :D

Posting logons is not a lot of help if you do not post a link showing where to logon. ;)

It's OK, we all make mistakes so onto your next one... ;)

Could you create an album with permissions for the test user to upload and also apply the settings requested in the docs.

 [num_file_upload] => 5
 [num_URI_upload] => 3

Aaaah sorry!! I feel really stupid now lol!

Right, Ive set the file upload to 1, and the URL uploads to 0 like it says in the docs. And Ive made an album where users can upload to.

Btw, I dont know if it makes any difference but batch upload still works.

Uploads works as expected. I have uploaded a couple of files successfully (which you will need to delete). It seems you are running into some server side limits. You have set 5000kb as your size but the server is limiting the size of uploads. Maybe you can set a custom php.ini file or speak to your host to see if they can help.

If not, you will need to resize your files before you upload them.
