Title: problem with stylesheet (I think)
Post by: Laney on October 12, 2006, 12:06:36 am
I upgraded from 1.4.8 to 1.4.9, everything seemed to be working just fine.
However, I am having a problem with the stylesheet (I think it's the stylesheet), everything is just white:

What did I do?

You didn't upload it. You didn't upload the stylesheets for any of the themes.

Yes I did, they are all there.
Just in case I am going to re-upload them.

The stylesheet might be there, but can't be accessed. Coppermine expects your stylesheet at http://www.meaningfulscraps.com/gallery/themes/rainy_day/style.css, which results in a "403 forbidden" error. Set permissions accordingly, take care of improperly applied hotlink protection or similar.

that's what you get, a 403 error?
I can see it, but only the links and the images I uploaded to the albums, no stylesheet. I checked the permissions, they were all 755. I changed them to 644, nothing, changed them back to 755, now it works. However, the theme that I was using, rainy day, even though all the edited graphics are in there, are not being displayed. So I am just going to edit the classic theme to the colours I want again.
Can you check again to make sure you're not getting a 403 error? tks!

your classic theme is fine , but you have one broken image on rainy_day theme (css is fine now)

yea, that's what I just don't understand.
I've been reading about themes, I shouldn't have edited the original rainy day, I should've renamed a copy of it, uploaded and worked on the copy. But, in any case, the images inside the rainy day images folder they were all edited (colours only) to match my site's colour. It was working before, I am not sure why it's not anymore, that's why you see that broken image on the top left side.
Anyway... going to do it properly now.
thanks,
