Title: Some big size pictures not displayed on IE, some only partially displayed
Post by: mr5 on March 18, 2006, 05:41:58 pm
Hi,
Just installed the DB and the program (1.4.4) and enjoying every minute. Everything works perfect. The only problem is that on IE6 some of the big size pictures are not displayed (get the X square with file name), on Firefox the same pictures display OK. The pictures that are larger in size or bigger in K do display... Can't see anything specific about these "failing" pictures. No error messages.
Also on both IE6 and Firefox1.5 one picture (big size) is displayed only partially (more or less half horizontally).
Any suggestions more than welcome.
PS I didn't change any default parameters. This happens with any standard theme.

Thanks.
This is the one that can't be seen on IE in big size. OK on Firefox. http://eja.pri.ee/cpg144/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=0

This is the one that opens only half in big size on both IE and Firefox http://eja.pri.ee/cpg144/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=1

I guess you're refering to http://eja.pri.ee/cpg144/displayimage.php?pos=-4
Don't you think that the filename of the corresponding pic http://eja.pri.ee/cpg144/albums/various/Airplane_Warszawa_-_Vilnius_-_Riga_-_Tallinn_1934.jpg (Airplane_Warszawa_-_Vilnius_-_Riga_-_Tallinn_1934.jpg) is a wee bit too long?

You are a Geniuos! Who could think that IE has a practical restriction on the length of the file name... Thanks.
For the "half loaded picture" problem - I reloaded it and it is OK now. Thanks you very much!
