This isn't so much a bridging problem since I have already successfully bridged Coppermine with SMF. My problem is I can't access the bridge manager anymore, when I click on it all I see is the text "index". I realize it is trying to redirect but for some reason it isn't doing anything.
I know it isn't a Forum Version problem because I am experiencing this exact same problem on another board that is running SMF 1.1 RC2.
The whole reason I am trying to access the bridge manager is because some users are claiming the photogallery doesn't recognize them, while others say it does recognize them (from their forum username). It recognizes me, and it recognizes the test account as well, so I am assuming it is browser related but I want to be sure. It is more then one person claiming it doesn't recognize them and they can't login because it keeps forgetting them. They don't have this problem on the forum and they say their browser is set to accept cookies.
Coppermine install: http://ramchargercentral.com/photogallery
Forum install: http://ramchargercentral.com/boards
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.3
Forum version: SMF 1.0.5
Test user account: tester / tester
BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL: http://ramchargercentral.com/boards
Relative path to your BBS's config file: /var/www/html/boards/
Use post-based groups: 1
use_standard_groups: 1

That's not a relative path, but an absolute one. A relative one would be../boards/

still makes no difference, can't access the bridge manager.

what (error) message do you get?

None, just this

re-upload the file then, it's corrupt.
-
I have already tried that. On my other site with the latest version of SMF if actually worked for a while, then stopped working all of a sudden.
-
get a fresh coppermine package then, the file may be corrupted on your local pc already. Also make sure to use a proper FTP app to upload, not some crap like the upload feature built into MS Frontpage or similar.

I get, uncompress and install straight from command line, so there is no crap upload feature (frontpage is for retards). I have tried the same file from 2 different downloads of coppermine before I even posted this problem. Like I said, on my other site it worked for a little bit, then went to crap. I tried it right after I did a fresh install. On the site that is in this thread I never tried it right after the fresh install so not sure if it ever worked or not (like the other site).
It isn't that big of a deal since I can change whatever I want in the DB via shell anyway, I was just curious as to why this would even happen.
I also figured out the login problem which is unrelated to this.
